Don The Armour

We often fear living righteously because of how the world will treat us, but remember that God commands all men, and when our behavior is pleasing to him, he will bring us peace, even with our enemies. The scripture is full of examples of this. See the story of Jacob and Esau, when Jacob fears Esau will kill him, but when he comes bearing gifts, Esau kisses him, and they are reconciled. Or the story of Joseph forgiving his brothers when they return to him in Egypt. When these men chose the righteous path, God brought them peace.
