What kind of king do you want to follow: one who sits atop a horse behind the lines and watches the battle from afar or one that leads the charge? Our Lord leads from the vanguard; he doesn’t ask us to do anything he hasn’t done himself. Take heart in knowing you follow a courageous king who has overcome the world and will lead you to victory.
