For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Special Pride Month Edition

Propaganda has almost always existed in some form, but what we’re living through now is an unprecedented, total war for your mind. The book 1984 explains how the end stage of totalitarian control is when those in power can make you deny absolute, fundamental truth. The book uses the example “2 + 2 = 5.” I was 16 when I first read this and almost laughed at the absurdity of convincing someone to deny basic arithmetic. Fast-forward 18 years to 2023, and now I see the powers that control the propaganda point to Bruce Jenner and say, “This is a woman,” and the masses repeat, “That is a woman.” They say, “Men can have babies,” and the people enthusiastically echo, “Men can have babies!”

As we’re now in the middle of sodomy pride month (let that sink in for a moment), this programming is being pushed on us harder than ever. Our government draped a banner for sin over its most symbolically important house. Your credit card company, favorite beer brand, and entertainment providers are all working against you to implant these ideas into your subconscious regardless of what it does to their profits. They are willing to sacrifice revenue because when they can make you say “2 + 2 = 5,” they have absolute control, which is worth far more than money to them. I often hear people, even Christians say, “How dumb are they, losing customers to appeal to 1% of the population?” The mistake they are making is thinking that we are fighting flesh and blood when the apostle clearly explains that we are fighting powers and principalities. It’s not about money; it’s about possessing your mind and soul. As Paul says in the verses above, God is clearly revealed to all of us in his creation, so it is the enemy’s objective to make us deny what we see with our eyes and know to be true in our hearts.

In these times, we have to anchor ourselves to the only truth there is, God’s Word. As the Psalmist says in 119:160, “The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.” You become what you behold, so you must be in God’s Word to ensure your mind is firmly grounded in reality. If you’re watching Netflix more than reading scripture, you’re beholding the enemy’s lies. I don’t care how harmless it seems; I promise you that every single form of modern mainstream entertainment has subtle messaging working to erase the truth from your mind. Immerse yourself in the Word, and all these lies will be revealed so that you can use the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God (Eph. 6:17), to cut them down.

Scour your armor, sharpen your blade, and don’t give an inch to the onslaught that comes against you every day in this world.
